Getting Started
Who can use MedPAC Rx?
MedPAC Rx is available to adults 18 and older located in Nevada, with more states planned. Starting the intake doesn’t require a gym membership or a referral. Being eligible to start intake is not a guarantee of a prescription; that decision always belongs to a licensed provider.
How does the online intake work?
Intake starts with an online health questionnaire that takes about ten minutes. A licensed medical provider reviews your answers, then meets with you in a telehealth visit to talk through your goals and health history. If treatment is clinically appropriate, your provider writes a plan and a prescription; if it isn’t, they’ll tell you that plainly.
Do I need lab work before starting?
Not always. Some plans can begin from your health history and consult alone; others call for recent lab work so your provider can make a safe decision. If labs are needed, your provider will tell you exactly which ones and how to get them done locally. Recent results from your own doctor often work too.
How soon does my first shipment arrive?
If your provider prescribes treatment, most first shipments arrive within one to three weeks of finishing intake. Exact timing depends on how quickly you book your consult, whether labs are needed, and pharmacy turnaround, since compounding pharmacies prepare each order for the individual patient. You’ll get tracking the moment it ships.
Treatment & Safety
Are peptides safe? What are the side effects?
No medication is risk-free, and we won’t pretend otherwise. Side effects vary by peptide and by person; the more common ones include irritation at the injection site, nausea, headache, or fatigue, and some risks are more serious. That’s why every plan here is prescribed and monitored by a licensed provider, with regular check-ins built in. Your provider will review the specific risks of your treatment with you before you start.
Are compounded medications FDA-approved?
No. Compounded medications are prepared for an individual patient by a state-licensed compounding pharmacy under a prescription, and the FDA does not review or approve them for safety, effectiveness, or quality before they are dispensed. That’s true everywhere compounded medication is used, not just here. If you are prescribed a compounded medication, it will be prepared by a licensed US compounding pharmacy, and we’ll always tell you plainly what you’re getting.
What happens if the provider says no?
Then no prescription is written. Every treatment decision at MedPAC Rx is made by a licensed provider on clinical grounds, and a consult is never a guarantee of a prescription. If therapy isn’t the right fit, your provider will explain why and talk through other options for reaching your goals. We’d rather say no than prescribe something that isn’t right for you.
Can I stop treatment anytime?
Yes, at any time. There are no long-term contracts and nothing to buy your way out of. We do ask that you tell your provider before you stop, since some treatments wind down best with a quick check-in rather than a hard stop. Either way, the decision is yours.
Pricing & Shipping
What does it cost, and what’s included?
Pricing depends on the treatment your provider recommends, and you’ll see the full cost before you commit to anything. Your program covers the telehealth consult, ongoing provider monitoring and check-ins, and, if prescribed, your medication shipped to your door. No hidden fees, and Parkway Athletic Club members receive preferred pricing.
Does insurance cover it?
No. We don’t bill insurance, which keeps pricing simple and the same for everyone. Many patients can use HSA or FSA funds for eligible medical expenses, so it’s worth checking with your plan administrator. You never need insurance to be seen.
How does shipping work?
If prescribed, your medication ships from a licensed US compounding pharmacy straight to your door, with tracking. Medications that need refrigeration travel in cold-chain packaging built to hold temperature in transit, along with clear storage instructions. The box itself is plain; nothing on the outside says what’s in it.
Parkway Members
Do Parkway members get a discount?
Yes. PAC members get preferred pricing on MedPAC Rx programs, our way of taking care of the community that built us. Just mention your membership during intake and we’ll take it from there.
Do I have to be a PAC member?
No. MedPAC Rx is open to any adult 18 or older in Nevada, member or not. We share Parkway’s roots and its standards, but the clinic stands on its own, and every patient gets the same licensed providers and the same level of care.
